My moms battle with COVID19 & Breast Cancer
Local & National News | May 03, 2020
Nancy Nguyen is organizing this fundraiser, the #JustMy team had to share this story!

As you all have read, my mother is one of the individuals to fall victim to this virus. Most people typically do not take certain things seriously until it happens to them or someone they love, but for us we always took this COVID-19 seriously and took every single precaution we could to keep my mom safe. Unfortunately, her employer did not seem to take the precautions very seriously and before they knew it there was a handful of employees falling ill to the virus, one of them including my mom.

As an individual whose immunity is highly compromised, contracting this virus will only make her health worsen and her fight for recovery only that much more difficult. She has Stage 2 Breast Cancer, Hypertension, and Type 2 Diabetes so one can only imagine how difficult the virus is going to make her recovery feel or how it might possibly worsen any of the medical health issues that she already has.

My mom is the most loving, caring and kind hearted person I know, and just like any other mother out there, she takes care of anyone and everyone so it's only right that we take care of her during her time of need for support emotionally, mentally and physically as she fights off this virus.

We are aware that due to the virus, many individuals have lost their jobs from the closings of businesses and we know it is a lot to ask for during this time of uncertainty but anything is helpful to assist my mother with her sickness and recovery and we want you to know that any amount donated is gratefully appreciated. The funds will go towards my mom's medication, medical care and bills, and household needs as she will not be able to return to work.

Thank you everyone for your love, prayers and support. We truly appreciate and Momma Nguyen thanks you all!
